The plaza was amazing because of all of the history of each...
The plaza was amazing because of all of the history of each and every building, it was great to have a guide and just be caeful about who is going to be your guide becasue sometimes people will only tell funny stories and fake stories to make you laugh but then you would miss the real history. Also you can see the kumari here from the window

Everything you could want from a hotel! Friendly and welcoming staff; comfortable room with A/C; wide variety of food and drinks at breakfast and dinner; breathtaking view from the roof terrace - and all within a superb location right opposite Patan Durbar square.
We had a fantastic stay at Pahan Chhen in Kathmandu! The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. We especially loved the Newari style decor. The staff was incredibly friendly, warm and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with Patan Durbar Square just a short walk away. We highly recommend Pahan Chhen to anyone visiting Kathmandu! We hope to stay there again in the future.
The hotel is located at a great neighborhood with plenty of little cafes. What I loved was that one can walk to Patan Durbar Square!
The rooms are big and comfortable. Special shout out to the staff who gave us the right advice for travel around the city and were always prompt when asked for any help.

It was a very quiet place, away from main roads and just off the Patan Durbar Square. A very easy place to start walking tours of the Patan area. Very welcoming and kind staff and very comfortable room. Exceptional in house restaurant.
