Gamlebyen is the (small) old town (1600 or so) within Fredriikstad. On Saturday busy with day tourists. The hotel is fully in style of the old town, yet very comfortable. Good breakfast facilities (Vaerk) and plenty of restaurant available.
Clean facilities, very close to the old town and can go for a nice stroll. Friendly staff which recommended a couple of great restaurants and things to do in the city.
