It is spectacular. The decor is stunning, from the lobby to inside the room. The bathroom had heated floors, the room was very clean smelling amazing. I don’t know if it’s the same in all rooms but our bathroom had a tub and a shower with a gorgeous sink and there was a separate mini bathroom with the toilet and a small sink. That was great because you didn’t have to wait for one person to finish their shower in order to use the bathroom.
The breakfast selections were great, there were always cookies in the lobby in an area for tea or coffee and there were several areas to sit and read a paper or a book.
We had a room with a canal view that made the experience even better. It’s worth the few extra dollars to have the view.
The hotel is in a very convenient location and we walked everywhere.

We were looking for a budget hotel in the heart of the city and got exactly what we paid for. The rooms are not big, but we slept well, had a private bathroom and shower, and had an in-room safe. Being above a pub made it easy to continue the night after long days by freshening up and walking downstairs for cards and a pint. Location couldn’t be better… a 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Central station and the hotel itself lives on a Main Street that’s a 2 minute walk from great coffee, pubs, food, and other activities.
Loved the details of the hotel, the front desk staff were extremely nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean but keep in mind there are no doors to the bathroom area.

The coffee in lobby was the best! Rooms were quiet, even facing the city street. Best location to everything. Tram stops were just step away, in front of hotel. A few minutes walk to Amsterdam Central Station. They had luggage storage!
