not really far from downtown, special stylish hotel
At this 19th-century temple, a myriad of snakes – some decorative and some very real – slither and curl around every pillar and altar. Built in dedication to revered monk, Chor Soo Kong, the temple was not originally intended to host such serpentine inhabitants. Legend suggests the snakes turn up completely of their own accord, out of devotion to the monk who once gave them shelter.
