The location of the hotel was perfect for all our activities. The staff were all so nice and welcoming that we immediately felt at home. It felt cosy, and intimate, with personal attention and service, whether extra bottles of water, afternoon cakes, or directions to places of interest. We loved relaxing in the library corner, traipsing up and down the antique stairs felt homey. I also have to admit that we chose this hotel because they have a Nespresso machine in the rooms. Meals at Il Bacaro are a must.

A well designed, traditional themed space with modern amenities, The place is a duplex, with good space to lounge in room or to entertain guests. The aesthetic is beautiful, and neat. The courtyard and pool areas are well lit with natural light. The staff are friendly. Service is prompt. Breakfast is decent, good to have if one is not out exploring Penang local food.

I had a fantastic experience with Hotel Marriot Penang. The room was comfortable and fully accommodated. The staff Mr. Ammar provides an exceptional service by keeping me easier during the check in process. He explained every single things about the room until the detailing of engraving mirror. He suggested me local dining attraction and few nice places in penang which made me will return to this hotel next time. Oh the tiramisu cake was very delicious. We repeated second time. Thank you 🙏🏻

A new hotel- very clean and cosy. Walking distance to Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragon and Gurney night market.
Staff- friendly and compliment the security guards who did not failed to greet and put a smile when we see him.
The location is strategic. It’s located near Penang’s famous food hawker called Gurney Drive (5mins walk) & it’s nestled nicely in between 2 malls (Gurney Plaza & Gurney Paragon) for ease of getting things that you might need or just for a quick shop. The facilities are great (they have a gym & a swimming pool that are clean & well stocked). Breakfast buffet was tasty & also has a good variety on a daily basis.
The fact that it is located just walking distance from Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragon, the Gurney Drive hawker centre and 7E is an attraction for this lodge. The room is comfortable and clean. We love the aircond. Plus the staff there is really nice and welcoming felt like home! Overall the price is affordable
Bedroom is spacious and clean. If you have a sea facing room, you will enjoy a sunrise view too. Easy access to many restaurants, Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon mall are just beside the hotel.
Location was great, same row as the 2 malls, Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon. And it was clean. Host responded immediately to my requests. Room service was available upon request.
