We had an amazing stay at Misthill Rest, the staff couldn't do enough for us and made sure that our stay was perfect. Upon arrival we were greeted with tea and biscuits, which was lovely. Our room with a balcony was wonderful and very clean. We booked to have our evening meal at Misthill Rest, the food was so tasty, and the portions were huge, we definitely didn't go hungry! They didn't serve alcohol on site, but the driver went to the shop for us so that we could have a beer with our dinner, great service! The breakfast was also very good as well, and the portions once again were very generous. They also provided free accommodation for our driver which was very much appreciated. I would recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!

The manager Vijith was so unbelievable nice,he knows how to deal with tourists. What guests need. He is honest and could speak Dutch too. He can cook, manage and be his self. He is even running between 3 places Nuwara Elia and Kandy the Danish bungalow. He is trying to make the best of his life, was an honour to meet you. The food we had was great, we loved it. If you want to see a tea factory at work this is not the place to go. They only process the tea at night Because they do not want a lot of fermentation. Rather pick a tea company close to Kandy, in the Midlands or the Lowlands. There you can see how the tea is processed when you visit during the daytime.

The room was big enough for two people and a smaller child. There are to twin beds queensize.
The lovers waterfall is only a 30 minute walk and the Pedro tea factory is nearby. For the Victorian experience you need to travel with a tuk tuk. 500 roepies or less one way. The host is very friendly and the breakfast made out of sandwiches was original and tasty.
Shevyhaws is located a 15 min walk to the Lover's Peak and to the Pedro Tea Factory. The house is very clean, spacious with a common area where to sit and make yourself a tea or coffee at any time. Delicious local breakfast is served at the time of your liking. Namal was very friendly and helpful, he even set up the satellite sports channel for us to see the Eurocup!
Christopher is very friendly and helped us with a taxi and even a free drop at the city center. There is a waterfall and Pedro tea factory on walking distance. Perfect location!
