One of Luang Prabang’s ‘32 shimmering temples’, this sacred shrine is often hailed as the loveliest in all of Laos. Wat Xieng Thong has been a place of worship since 1559, and Buddhist monks still meditate in its hallowed halls and peaceful gardens today.
