As other reviewers have commented, this is an exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed hotel, something of a surprise in this out-of-the-way location that sees few international tourists. The valley is a summer holiday area (campsite nearby), but arriving early in the season we were (apparently) the only guests; we were clearly expected, however, and were shown to our rooms by a very friendly receptionist. Breakfast is self-service toast, coffee and Korean hard-cooked eggs - perfectly fine. Unmunsa Temple is a short walk up the road, and well worth visiting. Because of its proximity to the temple and campsite, there are a number of restaurants and shops near the hotel, but we found most of them closed (again, presumably because of the low season). One that was open served us a delicious Korean meal with good grace in spite of the late hour and the challenges of the language barrier.

I was surprised by interior and how well decorated the place was. From the outside it is very traditional, but from the inside it's very modern! Heated floors, screen projector with access to Netflix and other media services. It was brilliant! Location was good as well, although you would need your own car or use a taxi as your mode of transport, but everything was relatively nearby via car. The host was very helpful and tried her best to meet our requirements, even on the last minute - some of which I asked about but didn't request, yet she went out of her way to bring it to use (filter coffee paper, cup and filter). She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants too
