Location is near train station and walking distance to Deoksugung Palace and Myeongdong area. The reason that we booked this is because it has direct stop from the airport (6701 bus that stops right in front of the hotel). However, there were rallies during our stay therefore the roads in front of the hotel were blocked.
The property itself is one of the oldest hotels in the city but the facilities were maintained well. Prices are ok, room is clean, breakfast buffet has a wide variety serving asian and western food.
We have chosen the family room with kids' amenities and toys - which I highly recommend for family travellers with little kids to make them entertained.

Loved the choice of foods suitable for the most budget conscious tourist. Loved Labab for gorgeous home style meals with a sit in or take away option. The metro was easy to navigate and we made great use of it because the traffic was something else!
We booked a day trip out to Eobi Valley, Naomi Island and the garden of morning calm. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. If you love shopping then get yourself down to Myeongdong and Hongdae. We also headed to Ikseon-dong hanok village and checked out some cute cafes and shops there too. A short walk from there brings you to the Changdeokgung Palace. For a small fee we explored the grounds at our leisure.

You have art and museums everywhere, you have a good metro system, there is plenty of places to eat with its restaurants and food stalls and markets. If you want creams, you have them, if you want clothes, you have them. And don't forget its incredible palaces and viewpoints.

I scheduled two nights in Seoul to break up a long flight to ultimate vacation destination this trip. I wish someone had told me how awesome Seoul is. There is a manageable number of things to do, so it's not overwhelming like New York or London. But it does have attractions worth visiting (especially the War Memorial of Korea and the adjacent museum). The Metro system is very user-friendly. And the food is excellent. I want to go back. And I'm being positive when I visited in the winter when the temperatures were well below freezing.

I love Seoul.
I love Seoul. There are so many interesting and unique areas, not to mention there are endless things to do. Whether it's shopping, cafe hopping, skin-care treatments, food markets, one-day classes, and so much more! I love Seoul and highly recommend going for 7-10 days to enjoy it the most.

There is more too Korea than just K-pop and dramas which many people just fantasise about, and I went personally because of culture and history , there amazing food, the sweetest and best-hearted soul of people, a very friendly beautiful place,with many breathtaking views . Whenever I went to Seoul last 5 years , I stayed in G2 Hotel many times. The hotel is in a great location so it is convenient to go to popular places in Seoul (Myeong-dong, Sinsa, Gangnam, Hongdae, Jamsil and etc.) by metro and bus. There are many restaurants around hotel as well. The room size was good and the bed was comfortable. The best thing was that staffs were very kind and helpful. When we had some issues in our room, we let the staff know and they fixed it fast. I will stay in this hotel next time again.
This is our first time to Seoul, Korea. We are glad that we chose the right hotel to stay. Koreana hotel is very strategically located and everything just a walking distant. We love the ambient of the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped us to book our ride back to the airport. We will definitely be staying in Koreana Hotel during all our future trips to Korea.
