We went for a room with a sea view and the view from our room was incredible - overlooking the Great Torii. The room itself was one of the nicest we've stayed in while in Japan. It has been recently renovated, so everything is modern, the shower is massive and has great features, and there is a fridge as well. The common spaces are definitely a bit dated, but we only used those spaces for dinner and breakfast. The staff was great, and we would definitely recommend this if you want a great stay in Miyajima!

There was a night cruise to see the great torii at tonight but i didn’t do it
Lots of comments mention “dated rooms”, but they are in amazing condition - it may not be new but it is all perfectly maintened
We booked an sea view room and we were looking right at the great Torii gate, it was magical. The staff were very friendly and kind. Our dinner and breakfast were fantastic. A great unique experience. Loved the option to have a private onsen also.
The package of a night with dinner and breakfast is excellent, the hotel location is close to the Great Torii (about 300m), you can see the Great Torii day and night. The meals are amazing with over 10 dishes each meal, the dishes are fancy, using local ingredients, you have to try it.
