Hotel is affordable and located a 10 minute walk from Nagasaki station and the Chinatown area. Tram stop nearby that is connected to major attractions such as the Peace Park.
The room exceeded expectations with size! It was a double room and unlike many budget hotels I've stayed at in Japan, there was so much floor space! The bathroom was compact but clean and the view was decent. The location was only a short walk from Nagasaki station and had great connections with the streetcars and buses! Close to convenience stores and bars, too!
The shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station is convenient, I left my car in the hotel. The room is large, clean and comfortable.
The attention by the service staffs is great and always smiling. As the room is huge, the switches are all over the room.
As most instructions are in japanese, I could not find the heater controls and the room was cold. A call to the reception and within minutes, a hotel staff was in the room to adjust the room temperature, very quick response. The breakfast was excellent.
The owner and his family are very kind and welcoming! They gave great recommendations for places to visit and invited me to have tea and dinner with them. It felt less like coming back to a hotel and more like coming home to family.
The location is fantastic for accessing Nagasaki station and traveling to other popular destinations by foot or on the city tram. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the pillows were so soft, which seems to be rare in Japanese hotels!
The massage chairsssss!! They were great and free! Staff were nice. Good experience of staying in a ryokan. Great view of Nagasaki from the bedroom. Good baths. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to/ from Nagasaki station. Breakfast was traditional japanese only, but the staff were kind enough to get us bread upon request.
Good location - a Streetcar stop directly outside the hotel, a short walk to a shopping complex with some cafés, and a 15 minute walk from Nagasaki Station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are typical for Japanese corporate hotels, which is perfectly fine!
Conveniently placed. 7 mins by cab from Nagasaki Station and it's in a large shopping arcade so it's well placed for picking up a coffee, pastries etc. The rooms are atypical of a Japan hotel (in my tourist experience) so compact is the word.
The hotel is very close to the tram station and bus stop. You can easily take a taxi from Nagasaki station if you have more luggage.
The breakfast was more western then japanese. It was worth the price and very tasty.
Easy to check-out, just drop the keys in box on your way put, if you had payed when you checked in.
It is easy from the hotel to walk or take transportation to the various points of intreset.
