Jinya was so cosy and larger than expected. There was only 2 of us but they had 3 beds plus a pull out couch. It was a little Oasis after coming from hectic Tokyo. Wish we had stayed another night here.

Nothing beats the majestic view of Mt Fuji greeting us in the morning every time we drew open the curtains. Besides the view of Mt Fuji and Fuji-Q Highland theme park, what we appreciate most was the transport convenience. Theres a free bus shuttle that picks us up from Highland Resort Hotel to Kawaguchi bus interchange where we had the options to hop on various buses that tour around Kawaguchi.
A very cozy motel, with a spacious room and a separate bathroom and toilet. There were unexpectedly delicious buns and breads for breakfast and we really enjoyed sitting in the sunshine at the table outside our room. A walking distance from both Mt. Fuji railway station and Fuji-Q Highland amusement park. The motel owner kindly allowed us to leave our bags at reception after check-out so we could go to Fuji-Q unencumbered.
Great view of Mt Fuji from my room with clear sky. Hotel guests can enjoy free onsen which is was great for my health and skin. Guests also have free admissions into Fuji-Q highland themepark, which is right beside the hotel.
I loved the home-stay, traditional Japanese vibe of this stay. It was a good location close to Fuji-Q Highland and heaps of restaurants. The host was so lovely and brought us tea and snacks, and tried her absolute best to communicate with us even though she speaks no English and we speak extremely basic Japanese. The house was beautiful, room was lovely, the futon beds were comfy and there was a heater/aircon (Dyson).

Beds were 7/10 for comfort and no breakfast offered by hotel so not a 5 star review but perfectly fine for our needs
The villa is very spacious with a good view of Mt Fuji. Beds are comfy. There is a rooftop which oversees Fuji-Q Highland and Mt Fuji. We ordered breakfast (Yen1,300 per person) which was delivered to our Villa. Delivery time is between 7 to 9am. A lot of varieties for breakfast. Our first day breakfast was pumpkin soup, sandwich, jelly cup and orange juice and second day breakfast was soup, rice rolls, custard mousse and pineapple juice. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
Love the indoor & outdoor onsen. Surprised to see Dyson hairdryer at the dresser at onsen. The hotel location, being 3 mins walk away from Fuji-Q Highland theme park is a plus. Bus stop just outside theme park has a direct bus going to Oshino Hakkai & Gotemba Premium outlet. Overall, a no-frill hotel.
Great location with views of Mt Fuji! Very convenient to Fuji-Q Highlands train stop, close to Kawaguchiko Bus/Train station. Restaurant is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. Everything was easy, even though I speak very little Japanese—thank you for your patience with me. Public onsen is well-explained by an informational card for newcomers—very nice, and very fun!
