Everything! The best aspect of the trip was the wonderful experience of staying in Masako Bandai's lovely house and experiencing her extraordinary hospitality. She is the kindest, most generous person we have met in Japan.
We really loved walking around Naoshima island and visiting so many extraordinary galleries and museums. We were perfectly positioned in our accommodation to explore the Art House Project in particular, with some galleries only minutes walk away. Our wonderful hosts collected us from the ferry and returned us there on departure and also offered to bring us to various places of interest.

Really good location, 5 minute walk from Tonosho port
Communicative and helpful owner.
Yoko San allowed me to store my luggage before check-in as well as after check out. She also drove me to Dofuchi Strait which saved me some walking time.
The room is well decorated with cute bedsheets.
Just make sure you have enough clothes as it's rather cold in winter!
