The hotel provided a comfortable stay with clean rooms and friendly staff, making it a place I'd gladly return to. However, the room is quite small which not affected the overall experience.

There is a small onsen on the top floor. Convenient location next to the railway station and various shops and restaurants. Very nice breakfast buffet with lots of freshly prepared Japanese food. Car parking with lift available. Staff didn't speak much English but was very friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot. It was a very pleasant stay.

One thing that really impresses me is the centrality of the location of this hostel. Barely 10min walk to the JR Asahikawa Station and the Bus Terminal. Very convenient to move around the city.
Free coffee and cereal are provided. There is also a free locker service. One of the best offers is the nearby Kazokutei restaurant which offers very affordable and delectable meal sets at less than 1,000 yen. I ate there 3 times!
If you could rough it out and don’t mind paying premium price e, this can be a good option in a central location.
Hotel is in a decent location - about 1km walk from Asahikawa station. It is a quiet area too. Staff are friendly and helpful and they provide a lot of free amenities for guests too. Free corn tea in the afternoon and evenings and free coffee in the morning.
Although we did not use the onsen, we noticed it was popular with many of the guests in the hotel.
Hotel is a good base for anyone intending to rent a car and drive around in the area
The hotel is located in the city centre, opposite Asahikawa Station, with many shops & eateries around. There is a tablet in the room that indicate the congestion level in the public bath & laundry room which was helpful. Hotel is link to D-Parking on level 3. The hotel was sparkling clean, Japan hotels never fail in cleanliness!
Room was spacious for 3 people. Wifi strength was good. Bed was comfortable and you can grab an extra pillow at the lobby. Breakfast was decent. I was amazed they served alcohol at the breakfast area. The great thing about it is that the hotel is linked to Aeon Mall so it is very convenient. JR Asahikawa station is also close by, less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The location was superb! A few minutes walk from JR Asahikawa station and the malls (Aeon mall). At the hotel lobby, there was a communal area where guests can hang out and have their take-away dinners. To sweeten the deal, the drinks from the machines were FOC after breakfast hours. It was a nice treat by the hotel. There were coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks. Great for big families like ours to gather to have our take-away meals. The room was also a comfortable size for us, unlike most Japanese hotels, where the rooms are very small.
I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel, conveniently located within walking distance from Asahikawa Station. The owner was exceptionally attentive, and their friendly tabby cat added a lovely touch to the experience. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay.
Additionally, the owner's extensive knowledge about climbing Mt. Asahidake was a significant plus, providing valuable tips and advice for my adventure. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
Very conveniently located just at a walking distance from the JR Asahikawa station, rooms are a bit small but the beds are super comfortable, necessary amenities are available, breakfast is good, the staff is professional and helpful. I had a pleasant stay in this hotel.
Fantastic clean and modern hotel. All needs were met and staff very approachable.
Three minute walk to Asahikawa Station and major shopping outlet. Supermarkets and 7elevens just also a few minutes walk.
Fantastic central location.
The hotel is just opposite Asahikawa Station and Aeon. It's also close to a lot of restaurants, cafes and bus stops that connect you to other areas. The staff were helpful. The hotel has a laundry (not free, you have to pay with coins) and, a public bath on the 17th floor. The room is basic but standard like any other Japanese city hotels.
