This unusual church takes its architectural inspiration from Puglia’s traditional ‘trulli’ houses and their conical roofs. Only this isn’t a single-story dwelling for humble farmers – it’s a gleaming 20th-century church with multiple trulli-style towers poking out from the whitewashed façade. Inside, the pristine sheen of the walls serves as a contrast to the colourful fresco of Christ on the cross.
