The Grand Excelsior Vittoria is the epitomy of magnificent hotels in Sorrento. The private location in the middle of the city and the expansive views of the gulf are inimitable. The staff and service are beyond exceptional and for the caliber hotel they are, they are very child friendly. They also have a direct elevator to the marina. I would never want to stay anywhere else in Sorrento. You feel you are living in a different era altogether.

The hotel is remodeled in a fairly classy understated way. It's a very small place, but they did a good job of making it look nice. The breakfast was actually pretty good - although the coffee and cappuccino were not good at all. Bathroom was larger than normal - albeit with no bidet. TV included one English language channel (CNN). The location is pretty good - it's slightly further from the train station, but it's pretty close to the little square where the van from the dock will let you out. It's on a pedestrian street pretty close to the main tourist street. It's generally quiet, but we heard the phone alarm go off in the next room, and were awakened by motorcycles and carts before 7 am.

It’s in excellent location in Piazza Tasso it made exploring the city easy and convenient. The room was spacious and well maintained. The staff (Sara) was friendly and very helpful. She booked our taxi from Naples airport to Sorrento and did the same from Sorrento to Naples. Given the fantastic location, cleanliness, and overall experience , the hotel provided excellent values.

This apartment was perfectly located. Just a short walk to Piazza Tasso. The apartment itself is very clean, modern, and comfortable. Carmen left us a lot of water and snacks. Carmen was an amazing host! She was easy to reach and answered any questions we had. Staying here for a week made our trip to Sorrento even more memorable!
Great rooms and bathrooms. It was very well maintained and close to Piazza Tasso where all the great restaurants and shopping are located. The check in was easy and the check out was a breeze as well. Each room had cupboards and storage areas and chairs for sitting. I would definitely stay here again in Sorrento.

Super easy to walk up the path to downtown, takes about 15 minutes to get to Piazza Tasso in the middle of "downtown" Sorrento. About 15 minutes to walk to the port in Marina Piccola, for taking a ferry to Capri or Naples! Easy access to train station in downtown also!
Absolutely amazing property and owners! This apartment is modern, close to everything in Sorrento, and spacious. Silvana is wonderful and made us feel so welcomed, and gave us a lot of good suggestions on what to do in the area. This was our first time in Sorrento and we really enjoyed our stay at Piazza Tasso Max 1! Don’t hesitate to stay here.
