This was more of a B&B than the hotel we had expected, but the rooms and public spaces were nicely if sparely decorated, and Davide, the host bent over backwards to help us, even walking with us to a taxi stand and waiting to ensure we were accommodated. The cake and other treats at breakfast were delicious, and everything was very clean and modern. The location, just behind the cathedral, couldn’t have been better.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Hotel Brun. Hotel was newly renovated and clean. Decent sized rooms and quite a large bathroom. It was cozy and welcoming.
The staff were so kind and friendly and always assisted us with any questions we had or for booking taxis for us. The location was perfect, with the main piazza square just around the corner. Everything was in walking distance from the hotel, including so many eateries and restaurants. Highly recommend Hotel Brun in Bologna.

The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had everything you could want, and very fresh. The location could not be more perfect, right next to the Basilica.

Large open area, flooded with tourists like us. Climbing the clock tower is a must. Great views and interesting history. Off this piazza there are multitude of restaurants, bars and cafes. We enjoyed eating in the market.

Bologna could be very amazing.
Bologna could be very amazing. I am glad I visited it but was soooo disappointed to see a lot of graffiti. Graffiti does not belong on historical buildings or for that matter on any building, doors or any structure.

Great location if you want to be near Piazza Maggiore. It is a twenty minute walk from Bologna Centrale. There are many restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities within 10-15 minutes of the apartment. The apartment is nicely decorated and also has cooking, cleaning, and clothes washing equipment.

Clean and modern apartment at great location. Its only a 10 minute walk to the main station Bologna Centrale or the Piazza Maggiore. We also liked the Nespresso coffee maker with complementary coffee pods and the charming elevator.

The location!! Amazing view of Piazza Maggiore. The size of the apartment is amazing. Very spacious and comfortable for four people. Ricardo met us on arrival and was super friendly and gave us tips on places to eat. There are restaurants and cafes everywhere. Perfect stay in Bologna. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Right across the street from the central train station. Straight shot by bus 10 minutes to the Piazza Maggiore, San Petronius basilica, and museums. Several good al fresco restaurants for breakfast and a nightcap and shops right downstairs from the apartment. The host was very accomodating to our late arrival and was very informative about how to get around the area. I would stay here again, when visiting beautiful Bologna!
amazing location just of from the Piazza Maggiore, on a quiet walkway with lots of Shops and Cafes, very quiet at night, the apartment was round the corner from the Hotel and very modern and spacious with every amenity you could want for, Breakfast had ample selection with very attentive staff in the restaurant. I will return for a weekend with my wife sometime.
