We had a lovely 2 night stay at Hotel Brun. Hotel was newly renovated and clean. Decent sized rooms and quite a large bathroom. It was cozy and welcoming.
The staff were so kind and friendly and always assisted us with any questions we had or for booking taxis for us. The location was perfect, with the main piazza square just around the corner. Everything was in walking distance from the hotel, including so many eateries and restaurants. Highly recommend Hotel Brun in Bologna.

This was more of a B&B than the hotel we had expected, but the rooms and public spaces were nicely if sparely decorated, and Davide, the host bent over backwards to help us, even walking with us to a taxi stand and waiting to ensure we were accommodated. The cake and other treats at breakfast were delicious, and everything was very clean and modern. The location, just behind the cathedral, couldn’t have been better.

This is an impressive place, that should be made more...
This is an impressive place, that should be made more popular and visible to tourists. The artist brought this place to life despite the sadness is carrying. You can walk to it from the city center, about 35 minutes, no entrance fee but we donated a few euros
