I loved this property. Fantastic location- you can easily walk to the quieter Oltrano or walk to all the sights in the Centro easily. Staff is amazing. They treated me like I was a princess. I had a room in the newer wing and it was huge , very comfortable, had an extra comforter which is unusual, a robe and slippers. Bathrooms in new wing need an update but that is happening this winter. Great breakfast in a stunning room with frescoes and a view of the Arno . The rooftop Deck is fantastic place to have an afternoon glass of wine . Everyone was very helpful and absolutely lovely. Will be back in the spring .

Worth the hike up to the Piazzale Michelangelo for the view...
Worth the hike up to the Piazzale Michelangelo for the view of the city. We chose this over the Duemo … I’m sure the view is just as good and it’s free. We carried on up to the cemetery which is worth a visit.

A great view of all of Florence.
A great view of all of Florence. Definitely worth the walk up there (it's not that bad or that steep; maybe in the heat of August is a different story, but we were there in May). And yes, there are public toilettes up there -- 1 Euro. Always have some spare coins in your pocket for public toilets!

Such an adorable property on the other side of the river from the city center. Very walkable to get wherever you need to and lots of cute shops and restaurants on our side of the river. The home itself was very comfortable with lots of amenities and Angela and Roberto were kind enough to suggest a lookout point in the area (Piazzale Michelangelo).
Gorgeous apartment close to Piazzale Michelangelo, which is a beautiful spot and a must see either at sunrise or sunset. Only 15-20 mins away from Ponte Vecchio and city center. Some things are a little bit too vintage in the apartment but that just added it character. My fiancé and I loved this stay and will probably be coming back:)
Close proximity (between 10-15 minute walk) to all the major attractions, such as the Duomo; Ufizzi and Academia Galleria.
Piazzale Michelangelo was a 15 minute taxi ride. Tons of restaurants, bars and eateries next to the hotel. Also, the central train station was only a 10 minute walk.
Breakfast was decent with an assortment of food items. Scrambled eggs were ok but have the option to request eggs made differently.
All the staff was friendly and very helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the breakfast area offered an amazing variety of options. Since we were here to sightsee, The Sonetto property was convenient to walking everywhere! We crossed the Arno River and visited Piazzale Michelangelo, which is directly across from the hotel. A must see!!! What a view, we highly recommend walking there. Restaurants, piazzas, and museums are a short walk. Perfetto! Our stay was very pleasant!
