the staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel. The hotel in general exceeded our expectations whether it was the games and books in common areas to the exceptional food in the restaurant. The hotel is also a close walk to the black sand beach with a short 10/15 min walk. One of the best hotel finds on our trip with the staff looking after our little 2 year old Austen like family :)

The best waterfall in whole of iceland.
The best waterfall in whole of iceland. We could go so close to the waterfall and get totally drenched. That was an amazing and memorable experience. Very next to the falls are the steps to go to the top and view the falls from there. Loved it.

Wonderful location close to the Skogafoss waterfall. Large, spacious, clean room with comfortable beds. Great breakfast and exceptional silence. Great staff - I lost my phone and they sent it back to me (thank you Marcin). I'll be back next year.
It is a really nice guesthouse. The rooms are clean and there are 2 combined showers/toilets available, which is enough, although not overly abundant. The dining room is nice, there is a microwave to heat your meal, as are all facilities available to do your own cooking, except for an oven (although the microwave can act as an oven). There is also a dishwasher.
From most rooms you can see the Skogafoss waterfall and it is within walking distance, if you're good by foot.
Great great localization. Helpful Host. Needed information I got before accomodation so self check-in was without any problems. Skogafoss waterfall is visible through the windows.
Our room was not so big but clean. Also, at that moment we seems to be the only guests and the staff proposed to bring special breakfast for us or have it in their other hotel even closer to Skogafoss, that was super nice:) and breakfast was delicious!

Hotels in Iceland are limited but we are glad we decided to stay in this tiny town. The true drawcard here is the location literally right next door to the Skogafoss waterfall, you can just wander over and be at the waterfall in two minutes after breakfast. We visited it twice in the one day we were here, because we could. Also highly recommend the Kvernufoss walk and waterfall in the same time!
Hotel has an amazing location and only for that it can be rate super high. it's just 5 mins away from Skogafoss waterfall.

Tea/coffee machine is in the corridor, together with a selection of tea bags. Nice touch.

The breakfast is super and the location of the hotel is great, very close to Skogafoss waterfall. We liked the hot tub. There are two reception room on each floor and one has a TV and coffee machine( has to pay for coffee~) inside.
The hotel is very close to Skógafoss waterfalls, you can reach it in few steps. There are a gym and a spa inside. The breakfast is very good, with fresh and various food. Kind staff.
