Airflow in room was great. Washed clothing dried very quickly.
The owner was very nice.
Breakfast was simple, but sufficient. They made eggs and toast to order in addition to what was put out in the dining room.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. As part of a larger home, we felt like part of the family, but with privacy of our own. The staff are the very best, as was the food!

Breakfast was nice, also the dinner. These were my first days in India, and I was a bit worried about what to (not) eat, but their breakfast consisted of "allowed" food: fruits that you can peel so not dirty for sure, egg, pancake... Delicious and foreigner -compatible. Room was nice, AC helped also. They are all helpful, we had a nice discussion with the owner as well. Their driver is also recommended for visiting the city..

We loved the location, the room and the ambience of the place. The whole experience is truly wonderful.
Among the highlights are the friendliness of all of the staff. My wife and I are vegan and the staff was really accommodating. In particular, Aslam bhai, prepared masala desi chai with non dairy (oat) milk. It was a pleasure to wake up to it every morning. There are so many others who were so kind and helpful.
The room was nice, large and clean. Even though we were in the city, it was very quiet. We both had wonderful sleep both nights.
We also took advantage of the spa and massage services. It was very blissful.
Highly recommend staying here. Super wonderful. We will be back.

The Hotel offers big size rooms with all basic facilities. The staff is also good and helpful. The Hotel also offers the complementary pick up from Sindhi camp bus stand.
The location is pretty easily accessible. Our bus dropped us at Sindhi camp, we walked to the hotel as its cheaper. Its a wonderful hotel for budget travellers. You get the services you paid for and nothing more.
This homestay is located in a quiet street, yet only 5 mins walk from the busy Sindhi camp metro and bus station. It has a very good lawn and we can see peacocks in the morning. Many 24-hour shops and restaurants are available near the bus station. The host was very hospitable and provided all necessary help to make our stay comfortable - information regarding city tour and transport options. The auto driver recommended by the host was very good - spoke English and informative. The breakfast was simple and good.
The location of this hotel was great, it is just a few meters away from the Sindhi Camp bus stand. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. There was no thermal kettle for hot drinking water, but you can ask the reception guy, who can provide you with warm drinking water on demand.
Loved my stay. Staff was excellent, compromising, understanding, helpful etc. Breakfast was great and love the location in Sindhi Camp. Able to meet all my needs and went beyond to assist me with other issues non relevant to Hotel Shalimar.
