My stay at Dolkhar Resort was memorable, offering a blend of luxury and local charm. The villa I stayed in was spacious and beautifully incorporated Ladakhi influences, making the experience feel authentic and connected to the region. The food at Tsas restaurant was exceptional, creatively blending Ladakhi culinary influences, and the cocktails at the Terrace Bar were nothing short of superb, skillfully crafted with local ingredients. The resort’s sauna provided a nice, relaxing experience, and I also enjoyed a peaceful and rejuvenating yoga session. The front desk staff stood out for their excellent service, always pleasant and prompt, efficiently fulfilling every request I had. The resort’s lovely orchard and garden, dotted with apricot trees and frequented by birds like the Eurasian Magpie, created a serene environment that was a pleasure to explore. Additionally, Dolkhar’s location is ideal, being close to the popular attractions of Leh, making it convenient to explore the area. The day trek organized by the resort was enjoyable well-planned. Overall, I found the stay to offer great value for money.

The supervisor/reception staff is very friendly and helpful. He made all effort to print and scan documet including how to use an App to scan. The hotel has a small nice front garden- neat and clean. Various potted plants were placed along the stairs, and corridor. The hotel interior corridor, staircase are spacious. The hotel prepared packed breakfast for those who cannot do the regular breakfast. Laundry cost was cheap. My room was upgraded to one with balcony at no extra. Good room facilities at most attractive room rate, compared to the other 3 hotels I stayed in Leh and Nubra Valley, which make the hotel excellent value.

Kolto and Yangchen are great hosts. The guesthouse is off Changspa Road. It's like a green oasis in town and very peaceful. It's about five minutes walk into the town centre.
Shanti Stupa is also in walking distance.
The room I had was really spacious and had a lot of sunlight coming in.

The family is very hospitable and the staff very friendly. It's not a home stay so you have the freedom that a hotel gives you. The rooms are spacious, with a small balcony and had everything I need. It was great value for money at an excellent location. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. You can see Shanti Stupa, the monastery, the temple and the city. I spent 10 days in Reeyork House for the Ladakh Marathon and will return again.

Absolutely lovely place. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the owners are very kind. You get nice tasty breakfast. It’s peaceful and quiet there. Close to beautiful Shanti Stupa and a wss as walking distance to the main bazar. I will be back for sure.
The stay was really cosy and comfortable, staff was really helpful. The location is near to shanti stupa, leh palace and market, makes it easy to reach on foot. The food was really delicious and the place has a really good vibe.

Shanti stupa view from the hostel terrace cafe is awesome, common places are good for digital nomads.
My overall experience with new moon homestay was par excellence. The homestay has wonderful rooms with great view of Shanti stupa. Food was 👍 great.

Best stay in Leh. The host, is very helpful and friendly. The place is away from main market area so very quiet with breathtaking surrounding views. Shanti Stupa and Leh palace are nice spots very close by. The food is amazing and the staff here is very helpful. Would recommend it for everyone
The owner Gurnam Singh, the reception staff, the kitchen staff and house keeping staff were all very efficient, courteous and helpful. When we had some health issues arising from the high altitude sickness, the staff offered ready and effective help. We deeply appreciate that. The location is very good with the iconic Shanti Stupa overlooking the hotel. Beautiful views of Leh and the distant snow capped mountains from the hotel windows and terrace.
