Our visit to Kashi coincided with the Mahakumbh, a time when the city is overwhelmed with devotees, making it nearly impossible to take the blessings of Lord Sri Kashi Vishwanath. However, thanks to Mr. Anil, our stay was not only comfortable but also incredibly seamless. He went above and beyond to arrange every request, right from local transportation to ensuring we had a smooth darshan at the temple.
Navigating through the immense crowds seemed daunting, but Mr. Anil’s meticulous planning made the impossible possible. He arranged for a local vehicle to take us as close as possible to the temple, after which, following his guidance, we took a pedal rickshaw—a mode of transport permitted by traffic police even during peak crowd hours. Additionally, he connected us with a pundit ji, who assisted us in completing our darshan in under two hours—a feat that would have otherwise been unthinkable in such a massive gathering.
The level of customer service at Stay Inn Kailasha is truly commendable. Their passion for ensuring a delightful guest experience is unparalleled. A simple ‘thank you’ does not suffice to express our gratitude. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kashi—it is not just a stay, but an experience of warmth, care, and impeccable service.

The place is not accessible by a vechile but itvis a great place to visit. Make sure you enter thel ghat before dusk as once the Arti prayers begin the entrance gets blocked.

Nearby area you get good tea, milk puffs (Malayia) that's how they call it , delicious chat, mouth watering Banarasi pan and tonnes of fabrics.
However Malaya is available only in winters and is a winter delicacy.

Honestly I watching aarti by boat is hyped as it only looks beautiful when you are at some miles away, mostly not recommended. Because the boat owner only goes when his boat is full and private boat cost more so not budget friendly.
Instead grab that first seat or corner at Dashaswamedh ghat to witness purest divine ❣️

Must wear mask. Boat riding cost 200rs including Aarti and ride. Need to bargain. Hotel staff, Auto drivers, rickshaw drivers, everybody will offer to help with shopping but do not follow them, look around. Buying clothes from ghat areas not a good idea. If anyone interested to buy sarees, can visit Ratna saree shop. Best and reasonable. Always take care of personal belongings.

the ghats on the Ganges river are a must see from a historical perspective. Today they are in shabby condition. Avoid staying at any of the riverside hotels (dirty, funky).
The evening puja is quite theatrical, but also authentic ritual.
Nearby is the International Music Centre Ashram which has classical Indian Music and Dance performances on Wed and Sat at 8pm. Call to confirm
Behavior of the owner was excellent. Excellent hospitality. No hastle was faced during check-in and check-out. The breakfast was tasty and hygienic. Received food(BF) and tea whenever requested.
Distance from Dasaswamedh ghat and Viswanath temple was within 1 KM.
Since it is located little away from main road, there was no noise. Rooms and toilets were neat and clean.
Ideal homely stay for a couple and family.

The Guest House is only a few minutes walk from Dasaswamedh Ghat and from here you can walk along the river to other ghats. Since the property is set back from the nearest lane it is relatively quiet in the evenings. The room we were in was large and the bed was relatively comfortable. The staff was very communicative via WhatsApp and helpfully sorted out an electronic payment on our last night at a nearby jeweler's shop when we were told they only accepted cash payments.
If anyone is reading my review then I will suggest you not book any hotels through booking.com.This is the first time I have tried and I have faced lots of problems starting from room, toilet, facilities etc. Even I couldn't get my hotel in day1. Prakash Guest House which is near to Dasaswamedh Ghat is not taking booking online, but we got the booking by looking at that name and distance. So many problem can't even write. Only suggestion from my side is book the hotels after reaching the destination
All the main ghat is near to hotel like shivala ghat, assi Ghat, dasaswamedh ghat, maximum 10 to15 by auto. All staff are very helpful. Hygiene is good and bathroom option for both Indian and western.
Highly recommended to this hotel to everyone if you came back in Varanasi so I choose this hotel again
Best located with in range of 500-600 mts of distance for both Kasi Viswanath temple and dasaswamedh ghat very near and accessible to the main road and rides will be available nearby to all the places
