It is a very Friendly, family orientated hotel. Amazing food options, from breakfast to dinner, especially Kelly's steakhouse. Great swimming pool , very clean facilities. Enjoyed the spa for a facial .Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room is large and comfortable.

We had our mams 70th birthday here in the restaurant and they didn't rush us to order or finish, they also let us all go into the bar with the kids until closing. We were all staying there. I'd 100% recommend a stay here for sure.

I liked the entire hotel, the service by staff was fantastic and will gladly return but the price I paid (€365) without any deals like breakfast included or something along those lines could be altered a little but will not deter me from returning. The bar staff and waiters in Sevens bar were absolutely fantastic especially Jack who we had all night while having dinner and drinks in the bar was very professional.
The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym.
