This is a historical place and truly I would recommend anyone staying in Malang to stay at Tugu Hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a few dining options that are great to enjoy, same with afternoon tea. Perfect for recovery after spending a day trip at Bromo National Park. Rooms are a bit outdated, but I guess it's part of the charm. Honestly, I would stay there again without any hesitation.

Centrally located, convenient to laundry. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. Toilets are reliable and hot water works well. Room service food is excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive. They even came to welcome us with some tarts. Room view with mountain( on request) was amazing. Breakfast spread is good enough for us.
