We had a lovely time at Tegal Sari Cabins. Everything was well attended to, and the hosts were very helpful. We appreciated the arrangements made for a motorcycle and were happily surprised with the delicious breakfast. The views from the cabins are gorgeous, making it perfect for those who do not want to wake up for the hike but still want to get an awesome sunrise view.

It feels brand new, clean, and very private. They only have 3 rooms so far. Their yard is what I like the most. You can see the mountain from the room.
Soaking up the sun in the morning at the yard while enjoying my cappuccino was very memorable.
They also helped me to arrange the mount batur trekking trip, very recommended!
Their nasi goreng was very yummy! They also have a very cute cat as a front desk 😆
We love the location. It is quiet and beautiful scenery. The view of the lake and Mount Batur is very clear from the roof top of the hotel. All food in the menu are delicious.
The food was amazing, loved their family restaurant, also a beautiful location nestled in the hillside and amongst the clouds. We had traveled quite a long way, so the bathroom facilities and a hot shower were great, especially after doing the Mount Batur hike that next morning.
The hosts were really friendly and there for you every step of the way. They even came with snacks during the day, local specialties for you to try. We booked the tour to mount Batur with them and it was handled well. The breakfast is also really good and abundant - definitely try their banana pancake. We even got to use the pool of the guesthouse next door, and the food their was delicious too! The restaurant down the hill, 5-10 min walk, Good Karma Waroeng, is exceptional!

the room is nice, not to mention they also have natural hot water pool! (ikr!) the surrounding was clean, nice, the staff incredibly nice and fun to hangout with! we did hiking mount batur, we had a guide that they recommended and he was super nice fun and helpful ! and oh also the food was niceee, the fish was fresh!! deff will be back again to this place!! xx
The villa had a beautiful view over the lake and Mount Abang, with nice sunbeds to enjoy the view. Ketuk and his wife were very friendly and helpful with arranging a motor bike and the mount Batur trekking. The last night of our stay he made a lovely bonfire. And the banana pancakes for breakfast were so delicious! So overall a stay to remember.
There are just three comfortable one room cottages overlooking the magnificent landscape of the lake.
