An excelent choice for our family. They welcomed us even though we arrived after midnight due to waiting in customs. The quadruple room is perfect for a family of 4. Very clean, modern, comfortable beds and excellent pillows. Definitely have breakfast here, very good value for money. Plus the staff is very nice and they do everything to make you feel good. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.
Great ambiance - the highlights were the staff, namely the service we received from one of the personnel, which unfortunately I do not recall his name, and the great garden.
I recommend one improvement to the check-in process. The instructions for the self-service check-in arrived late and only by mail and it was difficult to get phone assistance. I suggest you check the process; see that the guests actually recieve the instructions on time and maybe provide add a 24*7 WhttsApp support.

A wonderful surprise for us.
A wonderful surprise for us. We were planning to stay over for one night to break up a long drive and thoroughly enjoyed the place. It has an amazing vibe, beautiful city centre and a lot of places to shop and eat. If you are planning to go by car, and park in the city, it's easiest to use parking buildings, as street parking only accepts Hungarian forints.

We were in Gyor during snowy December morning.
We were in Gyor during snowy December morning. The city is very nice, with a very big historic core for its size and many alive streets and shops comparing to other cities of this size in the region. Plus, it is much cheaper comparing bigger cities in vicinity.
It seems that Gyor is somehow touristicly "invisible" from bigger cities nearby - Vienna, Budapest, and Bratislava.
Please, leave at least one full day for Gyor!

It has beautiful baroque architecture, fasionable shops, great restaurants and cake shops to die for. The people are lovely and very helpful. Taxis are relatively cheap. The only down side was the cobbles which get very slippy in the rain.

Very nice historical city.
Very nice historical city. I love cities by river, so I enjoyed my stay very much.
I even had a dinner at the boat in Westy Hajó Étterem & Pub and it was very tasty.
In restaurants they spoke good English and it was possible to pay by card everywhere.
I took a ride with little tourist train (to be paid by cash, they accepted Euro).
I recommend also to visit Pannonhalma Archabbey which is 20 min by car away. It has beautiful library and you can do nice walk in the botanical garden.
It was however hard to search info in English as many pages and information are in Hungarian.
The apt is very beautiful and cosy. Even though the apt has not lots of m2s, it is very well equipped. A dishwasher, a washing machine, a coffee maker, a kettle etc. For drying clothes there is a handy rack in the bathroom. And a big, superb sofa in the living room!
The location is fine, all you need is near and the glorius baroque old town, too.
Erika is a great hostess, so kind, friendly and helpful. She made us feel warmly welcomed.
Now, next time in Györ it is easy to choose the right place to stay. Danke schön, liebe Erika <3
