Everything was awesome, best hotel experience I had so far. The receptionist was so generous and checked me in at 8am even if the check-in was 14:00. I love the amenities and the large room. The beds are nice and the sofa was soft. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend to people coming to Dubrovnik. The bus to old town and airport is literally next to the hotel.

The staff at the reception was kind, friendly and very professional. The room was spacious and clean, but toiletries could be better; the pump was not working on the shampoo doser and the soap should be liquid because the hard one leaves so much greasy in the sink that it looks dirty after one washing hands, although the staff cleaned everything each morning. The breakfast was abundant and fresh, but not all the staff serving it was equally kind and eager to make guests feel appreciated. Also, the plates were washed, still hot like sterilized, but greasy spots were still present.
Overlooking the sea in the beautiful Lapad Bay, the Kompas hotel can be found near a pebbly beach and the popular promenade, only a 15-minute bus ride from Dubrovnik's Old Town.
