Don't waste your time visiting Athens. It's a dump.
Don't waste your time visiting Athens. It's a dump. Graffiti is everywhere. There were people openly taking drugs in the street. We booked to take an open top bus ride for my wife's birthday. The bus traveled for one stop and told all the passengers to get off as he had finished work for the day (at 4pm !). Thousands of tourists trying to see the ancient attractions. No consideration given to the wellbeing of people queuing for hours in really hot weather. Don't go to Athens. It seems the Greeks have lost all pride in their capital. Go to places where you are treated best, certainly not this dump.

In all honesty, stay safe in this area. We had a couple of scary situations occur that made us feel unsafe in this area so be cautions of yourself and your belongings. Stay aware of your surroundings!

Stay away! I was there with my family including kids.
Stay away! I was there with my family including kids. This is a very rough area of Athens. You do not want to expose your kids, or yourself for that matter, to this misery. Openly shooting heroin in the streets and homeless destitute souls on every corner. It is a picture of the hard reality a poor country will suffer through when getting even poorer. You will get many chances to give a small sum to the many beggars around Omonia Square, I guess every little helps. There are more tranquil areas in Athens.

Host is very polite and helpful. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the internet speed was fast. It is located in a very central location (by foot the metro station/Omonia Square is 3mins, Psiri 5mins, Monastiraki 10mins). If you are arriving by car, you will find a lot of paid, private parking places nearby (most are open spaces with fences and with cameras). Pricing around 10 Eur/24h
Location was great. Near Omonia Square with two Metro lines. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Staff was pleasant and helpful. A special shout out to George for being so friendly and full of suggestions and advice. He was the nicest person we met in our week in Athens. Room was small,but cozy. Beds were comfortable. Great hot water in the shower. Breakfast was adequate and predictable.
Staff was super nice. Especially woman ❤️. Big respect to her. I don’t remember names but men were also kind. There are 4 administrators as I understood. Location was quite nice, very close to Omonia square. Bed was super comfortable, I love when the mattress is not soft. Air conditioner works good. Hot water is 24/7. Mini fridge works well.
The room is so comfortable, and it was actually very big than what I expected to be. The facilities are great. They had also an Instax camera that you can take it with you and take some cool films on your trip. The hotel was 10 min walk to Omonia square then you can take the metro to visit all the places.
The location is very central in the neighbourhood Psyri. Being the old industrial neighbourhood there is a lot of graffiti around but it has it's charm. There are a lot of restaurants close by the hotel and a short walking distance to Monastiraki square, Omonia square and other central locations. The breakfast was very good as well as the room. The restaurant on the top floor was exceptional!
