Location is ideal for getting around Athens. Hotel is modern, small boutique 16 rooms bigger than average for Athens. Rooftop restaurant and bar with views of Acropolis. Funky music. Quiet rooms even though on first floor, no street noise.

I had chosen this place based on a walk I had made prior to staying. The area was nice, populated, many food/drink places around and it looked clean, neat and modern. I was very correct. I cancelled a much less desirable location in favor of the Mosaikon. It was absolutely the right choice. From the time I arrived to the time I checked out (3 nights), the personnel were always there to answer my questions, provide directions and make suggestions.
Great place and don't be swayed by the fact that this is a hostel. I had an individual room with my private bath. It was actually larger than the previous hotel I stayed in. Yes, there were younger people but my room on the 3rd floor was quiet and I never was distracted by the other guests. If I hadn't seen them, I would never have known they were even there. Very quiet, respectful and considerate guests.

Stayed here for the second time and for us it is comfortable enough. Although the Omonia square is supposingly not a very good location with some homeless and people living on the streets, the area is quite nice with some delicious bakeries around and easy to walk to the city centre. We felt safe when we returned to the hotel by foot at night. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of taxies and public transportation around. Metro just next to the hotel.
We did not like the neighbourhood very much, although it was convenient because it was close to Omonia square. The nicest area of the hotel is the terrace, where you can sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was not varied but ok to start the day . I must say that the people at the reception were very helpful.
Located close to Omonia Square - easy access to the two main metro lines. Within easy walking distance of the Acropolis and main museums. Helpful hotel staff and a really good self-selection breakfast. Staff were happy to hold on to baggage during the day whilst awaiting a late evening flight.,
Central location near to Omonia square/ central market & 15min walk to Monastiraki. Have lift access in the building. Building is quiet at night. Aircon & fridge works. That’s the only good things I can say. Super basic and nothing luxurious unlike the name suggests. Do not recommend for ladies or families with kids unless you are on tight budget.
Everything was great! the room was huge and clean, with all the amenities. The location is perfect, just 5 min from Omonia Square and from there you can reach any part of the city by metro/tram.
The neighborhood was great, we left the apartment early and came back late, and everything seemed fine. the apartment is only a 2-minute walk from Metaxourgio station.
I would recommend adding slippers.
