Originally constructed in the 11th century, this castle has undergone several part-demolitions and rebuilds in its time. Most of what remains today is the 16th-century version, built by the Venetians in ornate style. It’s a fantastic place for a stroll, with the smell of cypress trees wafting on the sea breeze, and the views sweeping out to sea.
