Took the budget room which meant top floor (no elevator) and shared bathroom..but the location right across from beach and pier more than made up for it. 2 blocks to bus and main shopping street.. many restaurants and pubs close by. Breakfast included was big and delicious. Hotel gives you free licker storage so good to come early and go explore. Loved this town! Would stay again

The location was exceptional. Right near the pier and easy to get around town and walk to things like the castle and High Street. So many great places to eat and shop. The room was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Great view of the beach and pier. We saw so many dogs and they were welcome everywhere. It’s the perfect location to stay and see the White Cliffs or enjoy a relaxing weekend.

All the staff were excellent. Especially the young man that took care of us on the bar on Tuesday night 6th Aug. Fabulous service from him. He was working the bar and serving food and was very professional. Hotel was beautifully clean. Good food from the attached restaurant Bella Italia. Excellent breakfast. Good facilities in the room.

Used to go right through Deal from Whitsable to Walmer and back again. Didn't realize how much there is to do. Best day out was the 2 mile walk along the sea front from Deal castle to Walmer castle where you can see Wellingtons boots and the room he died in.
