The staff was amazing. Barely had to ask for anything because they volunteered to do everything before we even asked. Concierge hooked us up with tickets to the Castle and Real Mary King’s Close even though they were sold out on every site I looked at. On site restaurant was great, and host sat us right away even though there was a 45 minute wait for people not staying at the hotel.

The apartment was for students and consisted of a wide corridor with doors and each door had a lock leading to a room. At the end of the corridor was a sitting room with a kitchen with a large refrigerator, a stove and an oven. One of the things that made up the room was a glass window overlooking a beautiful garden. The apartment is located next to the University of Edinburgh.

They allowed us to check in early, and they were quick to get someone to help with a backed up toilet. The location is excellent for people with or visiting students at the University of Edinburgh and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
