We arrived at 0830 am and by 930am our room was available and we were able to check in early. The person at the front desk was fabulous! Most of the concierge was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was beautiful and would have been more enjoyable had the staff been a little more friendly. We only had coffee there.

Make sure there is not some form of function/celebration or protest. Trafalgar Square was entirely closed up & decorated for Chinese New year & I felt that took away from one of London's iconic features

Room was good, even if the mattress was too soft for me (personal preference only).

Central location within easy walking distance of Westminster, Convent Garden and the Theatre District. Great breakfast and quiet rooms despite the hustle and bustle of nearby Trafalgar Square.
The hotel is really well located, with a bus stop right outside that will take you straight into Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square, so even though it might not be located at the heart of London, it is really close to it. The bed was really comfortable and our hotel had a nice view to the street. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but the best part was the breakfast and the staff's hospitality. Considering London's high prices, this hotel was a pleasant surprise, even though it wasn't the cheapest.
Convenient location, one block off Trafalgar Square. It’s part of the Charing Cross train station building so it’s not the safest at night to wander around but it’s fine. Very easy location to trains and buses. Walk to Covent Garden, National Gallery. Hotel is very clean, pretty rooms, nice staff. There is a Starbucks inside and a full service restaurant.
Great location next to Trafalgar Square between Embankment and Charing Cross station. No formal foyer, but access to a dedicated lounge for hotel guests that had and amazing coffee/cocoa machine. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Hot water was practically instantaneous.
Spacious comfortable room. We have stayed at 3 Thistle properties in London. They have all been excellent. The Trafalgar Thistle was in a great location and felt safe and clean. Property is convenient to Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus and Leicester Square. A 10 minute walk to Covent Garden.
Location is kick ass….right next to Covent Garden and in the middle of central London with Trafalgar Square, and St. James’s park within walking distance about 10 minutes
The location can't be beat. Bus was out the front door, tube within easy walking distance. We're able to walk to Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden.
The location could not have been better. Within walking distance to Bond St and Oxford St for shopping. Chinatown, Trafalgar Square, The Thames, Piccadilly Square and Leicester Square are minutes away as well.
The location couldn’t be better! From the flat, it's just a short walk to Covent Garden's famous market, the theatres of the West End, and the lively restaurants and shops of Soho. You can easily explore Trafalgar Square and take a stroll along the Thames. The flat itself was spotless and very well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was super easy, and the host was incredibly hospitable, making sure I had all the information I needed. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
