My room was big. The other single and double were ok.

After paying almost £800 for three nights, we got given a horrendous room, located at the back of the main hotel. No signs to locate the rooms, making it very difficult and frustrating to find after a long car journey.
If booking with St Micheals I’d advise to request to NOT be put in the captains house. Dust and dirt in every corner. A tiny mirror and dresser to get ready with (no full length mirror anywhere)
We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper as the cleaners wasn’t providing this daily.
Had to wait and ask multiple times every morning at breakfast for a pot of tea.
One morning, me and my friend decided to head to the balcony area to have a coffee at the main entrance of the hotel, alligatored for guest to sit on, only to walk in on a staff meeting, in which a staff member was crying. We felt extremely uncomfortable and felt bad. But after coming away from the situation, we realised a meeting like this should have been held in a staff only area and not an area for guest to come in and out of.
Overall the location of the hotel was stunning. Cornwall is a beautiful place to visit but I would not be going back nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone.
