we stayed as we attended a local wedding.
lovely comfortable beds.
Didn't have a chance to use the spa but may return again.
Taplow House Hotel & Spa is an elegant hotel close to Windsor and 25 minutes' drive from Heathrow Airport. It is set in 6 acres of grounds and has an on-site restaurant.
Such a fantastic base for us, close to bars and restaurants. We enjoyed a day at Thorpe Park and an evening at The Fat Duck.
Loved the modern decor and really appreciated the fans as it was a hot weekend, couldn't fault the place.
All staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had the BBQ ribs in the pub for dinner, and they were amazing!
The location was good for our needs (close to train station and the Fat Duck), and an Uber to Heathrow was only £32. Would stay again.
The pub was lovely. Nice beer garden. Staff were friendly. Dog friendly. We went to the Fat Duck for dinner and used this as our base. We were only there one night. It was pretty cheap!
The staff made the place warm and welcoming. The food, although limited, was delicious and it is in a really convienitent place. We were visiting the Fat Duck for the night and the Lord Grenfell was both a reasonable price and in a great location.
The hotel is a very charming riverside manor, with lots of nooks and crannies (try and find all the staircases!). The room was tastefully furnished. Common areas are full of interesting old furniture, books etc. There is a large riverside garden where you can relax or have a few drinks from the honesty bar. The hotel has a river boat and kayaks, if you want to explore the river. Breakfast is very good! Oh, and it's a 25 minute walk to the Fat Duck.
We stayed at the hotel overnight after visiting the Fat Duck. We really just wanted somewhere close by and reasonably priced given the extravagance of the meal. We were very pleased with the hotel and it far exceeded my expectations, especially given the price! We had a room upgrade and we’re very happy wit the room and the overall hotel facilities
