People are nice and friendly; spa is a nice addition to the beach; the warm swimming pool is especially good in colder weather: just swim, watch the sea in a distance, enjoy.

I have great admiration for the artists who manage to con money out of people who should know better. Like the Tate modern ,its a load of tat ,my 7 yr old grand daughter can do better than some of them .all those visitor's trying to look intelligent and make sense ,a big building and a lot of money to house tat.the best picture there was the view from the gallery out to sea .No I did not like it .

Beautiful little town saturated with tourists.
Beautiful little town saturated with tourists.
Don't even think about driving in the centre. About 8 times a year a lorry ingores the directions and gets stuck in the town for hours.
Don't bother with Tate St. Ives unlress you like canvasses entirely painted black or similar.
Harbour is beautiful.

Excellent Social distancing measureS in place.
Excellent Social distancing measureS in place. Excellent informative display info. And then go and look at the artist studios in the back streets of St.Ives and chat to artists ! Cheaper to buy work at their home studios if you have a car !

A four story house that was right in the center of St Ives, but on a quiet lane. Very well appointed, and comfortable. Only issue would be the stairs were quite narrow and steep - not a problem for us. A few minutes from Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth museums, as well as the main street (Fore Street) and the waterfront.
