The room was very clean and the beds were most comfortable. The ensuite was compact but toiletries were provided. The usual coffee/tea was available for us to make our own drinks. Breakfast was made to order and there was a variety of items to choose from. One evening we also had dinner - very unusual to find somewhere that has tapas on the menu. They were lovely dishes which were good value for money. Steve and Debbie are lovely hosts. It is just 5 minutes stroll away from Bolsover Castle.

Room was spotless and breakfast was very good. Having the option for gluten free toast and cereal was great, maybe having gluten free sausage available (even to order) could improve the choice for breakfast, although the options were good.

The cafe and visitor centre staff are lovely and friendly.
Nice to have a facility like this that is free to enter with the exception of car parking which at £4 for all day, was well priced too.
So glad I took the time to visit.

Well equipped cottage in a super location for Sherwood Forest, The Major Oak and attractions. Clean and comfortable, a gem of a find for us. The village has good options for food, and a couple of shops to browse too.
Ideally situated for Sherwood forest and the major oak tree as is Walking distance..... Ideal for overnight stay to visit local area.
Room and bathroom was clean.
Didn't eat there at night so unable to comment on food. Breakfast adequate if you want a full English....
The location was superb - around the corner from Sherwood Forest. The house itself was lovely- very spacious & comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked With everything you would need for a break away. The owner was extremely helpful, even helping carrying in our online shopping for the weekend! And providing a bottle of fizz for our anniversary.
Rachael made us feel very welcome and was particularly flexible with our arrival and leaving times. Very modern spacious house, in a very good location for access to Sherwood Forest and local amenities.
Robin's Nest is in a great location, walking distance into town with a few shops and restaurants and easy access to Sherwood Forest. We had a wonderful few days here, the cottage is beautifully decorated, well equipped and extremely clean and comfortable. As others have mentioned there is a bit of road noise but for us after a day’s walking once our head hit the comfy pillow and beds, we had no issues sleeping. Tara was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We hope to return to Robins Nest on our next visit to the area.
The location close to Sherwood Forest attractions was very good. The hotel was spacious and comfortable. The dinner was standard but good pub food. The breakfast was tasty and substantial.
Great for a couple of days work stay for one of my employees. He said it was exactly what he needed. As I know the area, it is a great location for walking or driving to Sherwood Forest and visiting the Major Oak (Robin Hood's tree).
Lovely breakfast, not greasy, well presented. The hotel is close to some nice pubs for a night out. Close to the town centre to have a look around the park. Sherwood forest close by which is well worth a visit.
