Incredible experience and nice view, sadly was a bit rainy on the day but still managed to explore everything. There was a fair organised and I could see children enjoying it. I had a great vegan pizza and a vegan chai latte. Friendly staff.

Scarborough Castle is a must visit place .
Scarborough Castle is a must visit place . It is set high on the Hill overlooking Scarborough and has a long and interesting history from Vikings to Romans to Medieval Kings and much more . It is quite a large site and wonderful to walk around and absorb the history whilst enjoying the incredible views from the castle .it was even bombed during the 1st and 2nd World wars . Plus it is kept beautifully maintained by English heritage.

It is very old especially the history boards giving you the information. Dont go near the edge its a long way down plus you might get stuck & may need a costal call out [re-emergency services] . Possibly you might get your name in the local paper Scarborough Evening News.

We went on a windy day, not a great idea, the wind was 10 times worse up there. Beautiful place to explore and will definitely go back in better weather. Not ideal place for those that have problems walking very steep, great as a workout. Felt on a better day a lot more exploring could have been done.

loved the location of this little flat it was handy for Scarborough Castle. Peasholm Park and a walk into town. it was good for parking which was directly opposite. The flat was very comfortable & I loved the finishing touches like the towels on the bed shaped like swans & well equipped.
Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. And within easy distance for a day trip to Whitby. and just a few minutes walk from the Scarborough castle which was a lovely morning effort before breakfast.
Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, great view over the North Bay beach and Scarborough castle. Very convenient location, easy to walk to the town centre and to the railway station. We had a lovely time!
Friendliest people you could hope to meet. Superb service. Breakfast made by Irene and Ken’s son was wonderful. Location ideal to walk into town. Sea views were amazing with Scarborough Castle so near. So much to see and do especially for families. Skate board park, 5 aside football park and a swing park. Loads of play area in front of the hotel with steps and paths leading down to these facilities.

Scarborough Castle is a very interesting place to visit, the staff there are friendly and helpful. They lend out audio devices (similar to mobile phones) which you listen to at you own pace as you walk around. Its a long climb up to the site, but the views of the town and the North and South Bays are spectacular and worth the effort!

Scarborough Castle is a ruin, although some parts, the gate house and Master Gunner's House have been restored. A great site for views of the town and harbour.
