Such a lovely warm welcome from April. We enjoyed her company and her beautiful family. It is a lovely boutique hotel with some facilities not yet open. That didn't stop us from bringing in a bottle of wine from the co-op directly opposite, connecting to the speaker, and enjoying a chilled-out evening. We will definitely return at some point and can't wait to see the transformation outside. Wishing this family nothing but luck and prosperity.

Utterly charming castle hotel placed in a tiny and charming village. It has a cathedral…so it might be a city.. Our adult children loved the charm of the original castle and surroundings. We had a suite, kids 3 other rooms. The single room was lovely

Very nice but a bit on the formal side. The golf course was good but certainly nowhere as good as the "Royal" moniker might suggest. The meal which we enjoyed in the clubhouse was excellent.

Easy access with key box on the front door. Spacious apartment, very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen (we just used it for breakfast thought as they are plenty of dining options in town). Friendly and helpful hosts. Parking straight in front of the house and in the driveway. Good alternative to a hotel as it gives you plenty of space and more flexibility. Walking distance to Royal Dornoch Golf club.
This is a fabulous hotel - we loved everything - the friendly professional staff, the beautiful interiors of the hotel and our rooms, the location right next to the Royal Dornoch Golf club and the sea. Breakfast was amazing too! Faultless.
ideally located for Royal Dornoch Golf Club. Our top floor apartment was huge with a Bedroom, Bathroom, lounge, Balcony & Kitchen diner. a short walk to the beach and town Center. Dornoch is a fabulous small town with lots of nice pubs & restaurants. In my opinion LH is the top quality establishment in the town. if you are looking for THE BEST this is it. The staff are all very efficient and friendly. The food in the Restaurant (we had breakfast & dinner) is very nice and the wine list exemplary.
It is first class accommodation. The views are good and very central for Royal Dornoch golf club also DunRobin castle plus Loch Fleet to see the seals.
