The staff are the true standouts here. Service is exceptional at this hotel nestled between the river and a residential neighborhood. The rooms were comfortably appointed (though standard feeling with no charm or Scottish flavor). Dinner was outstanding. The bar food was quite good as well. But, again, it is the staff and level of service that make this hotel a 5 star hotel.

The breakfast was good and fresh, a good way to start the day. The location was great. There is a small bar in the hotel, there is also a good bar at the lodge in front of it if you want to get out of the hotel and stay within walking distance. The bed wasn’t that comfortable to me… it was kinda hard and you could feel the springs. Overall, I’d stay again.

The food was good. The people were friendly room was clean. The bed was good no complaints here. They let us store a luggage overnight when we went on a trip no charge just all around people.
