The Bonham, hotel in Edinburgh

Situated in Edinburgh's West End, The Bonham Hotel is a Victorian town house. Majority of the bedrooms have a city view.

Very helpful staff when we arrived too early to check in. The period building was lovely, with a lounge, library and bar, and a huge dining room. The breakfast had lots of choice - a buffet table with cereals, cheese/ham, pastries, fresh bread and Prosecco! And there was a hot menu too. The room was warm, with a big bed and TV, a fantastic shower and toiletries, and lovely views.

There was this feeling that you stepped back in time, with the perching view of the Edinburgh palace. The gothic view of the historical monuments alongside the streets on one side and the renovated stores of modernization overlooking the museum. It was great to see the mixture of old and new entwined. You cant get enough of the city and taking a trip outside of the city is also a gem. Whichever is your choice you will not be disappointed. I visited Rosslyn Chapel which is about 1 and half hour from the city.
