El Palau de Holyroodhouse ha sigut la casa de la reialesa des del segle XVI. De fet, encara és la residència escocesa oficial del monarca britànic. Podràs visitar les antigues estances de Maria d’Escòcia i conèixer les desventures del seu regnat. Si treus el cap per la finestra de la capella, també veuràs les ruïnes molt ben conservades de l’abadia de Holyrood, que data del segle XII.
