Batty Langley's, hotel in London

Located just a 7-minute walk from London Liverpool Street Station, Batty Langley's features beautiful rooms with antique furniture, heavy silk curtains and quirky bathrooms.

The Batty is warm, welcoming, and elegant in a lovely Dickensian way. While the impeccably clean rooms are very comfortable, the hotel’s finest feature is the staff! They answered all our questions, arranged transportation, brought us beautiful breakfast trays, and made us feel at home in every way throughout our stay.

Wilde Aparthotels London Liverpool Street, hotel in London

Well set in the center of London, Wilde Aparthotels London Liverpool Street provides à la carte breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property.

This was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had!! The room was exceptionally clean and a comfortable size for a couple. It was great having a small kitchen area to statore food, drinks etc. The bed was super comfy too! The bar and restaurant were so convenient, especially after a long day of travel. Our first night we stayed in and had drinks and small snacks in the bar. They also have a shop with food and drinks you can take up to your room. The location was great too and it was easy to get to Heathrow from here. I can’t recommend Wilde at Liverpool Street enough. You’ll be glad you stayed here’s Oh, and the staff were fantastic!

Snoozebox Olympic Park, hotel in London

Snoozebox Olympic Park in London provides adults only accommodations with a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar.

The rooms are very small, but for 2 people we did make it work ok. Each room has a double bed and a single bed in a bunk bed type arrangement, an en-suite wet room with sink, shower and toilet, a TV and double socket by the bed so you can charge a phone or boil a kettle Free tea and coffee is available downstairs in the cafe area and the staff are happy to fill up water bottles, etc. The cafe downstairs is an after-party venue for the ABBA Voyage show but on the 2 nights we stayed, it had quietened down by 1030 and we had a peaceful night sleep both nights. The cafe serves street food boxes which we did try and they were very nice, and has a bar as well. Alll in all a good cheap budget hotel with lovely staff and ideal for ABBA Voyage as it’s literally less than 50m away. It’s also right outside the Pudding Mill Lane DLR station and one stop away to get on to the underground and the new Elizabeth Line which is quick, smooth and gets you right into the centre of the city and across as far as Reading and Heathrow via Paddington, Liverpool St etc.

    Visited to watch football.

Visited to watch football. Unfortunately it's a multipurpose events arena rather than a football ground. Possibly great for athletics or a music concert but awful for football. Even the best seats are too far from the pitch and you'd need an oxygen mask and support from a team of Sherpas to reach the upper level cheaper seats. Toilet facilities may be ok for concerts where people drift in & out throughout the event but cannot cope with the numbers who wish to use them at halftime which just emphasises that the stadium was designed for athletics not football
