The Witching Post Inn, hotel in Goathland

The Witching Post Inn, a property with a garden, is situated in Whitby, 30 km from Dalby Forest, 37 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park, as well as 39 km from Peasholm Park.

Lovely place to stay and excellent location for Whitby and surrounding areas. The owner Pete is so friendly and welcoming (as were all staff we met) and accommodation is very doggy friendly. Room was clean with all essentials covered and very quiet considering you are above the pub. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked and very good. We ate here on our first night and the dinner was delicious and very substantial. If you are looking for a great location where you can relax in a friendly environment without worrying about muddy paws we cannot recommend this highly enough…. We will definitely return.

Fabulous location, beautiful cottages and gardens. Had our own tables and chairs in the courtyard, hosts met us and showed us round, very friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Would recommend anyone to stay here. We had a separate shower area to wash our dog, it was great.
