the receptionist Annetta was superb, delightful lady could not be more helpful, lifts not working, room was not tidy expected it to be cleaned daily, on arrival it was like walking into a sports bar, thank goodness for starbucks, without lifts had to carry our luggage up 2 floors, finally will not use booking.com again they should have checked out the hotel.

Location was good for Mote Park festival. We had twin bed room, stand up fan provided - thankfully, as room was very warm being on the top floor. Liked the addition of a fridge in the room. Good powerful shower and shower gel/soap provided. The cooked breakfast was lovely - cooked tomotoes and decent amount of mushrooms! Two lovely quality sausages, hash browns, beans, bacon and choice of egg...toast and juice too
Friendly staff happy to chat and receive feedback. Parking outside or next-door (give reg number when book). Lovely breakfast. Room 1 had a view of the back patio with a big high window that can open. Wash basin outside the toilet/shower room which helps getting ready. Good location 10 mins from Mote Park by car.
The suite we stayed in is incredibly beautiful, so large and impressive. I loved having a living area and the bathroom was... wow!

Stunning property with easy access to the fabulously Mote Park it’s a very special place. The garden is also beautifully designed cottage garden with lovely seating areas for relaxing
Stayed here for an event at Mote Park, which was within walking distance. Specifically wanted a hotel with parking and this has plenty on site, plus it is at no extra cost.
We had dinner here and the food was very good, however the service was a little slow even though we were the only people eating. Breakfast was good too but similarly, they seemed to be a little short staffed.
Loved the quirkiness of the cottage, beautiful. Amazing location right by Mote Park. Lovely host, responsive and helpful. Excellent directions and instructions for arrival. Beautiful cottage.
