A hidden gem just 2 minute gentle stroll from a lovely village. Lovely welcome and a super friendly feel. Really thoughtfully renovated leaving the old world charm intact but with modern convenience. We were treated to the piper on the bridgas we headed out for dinnin the village. We had a gorgeous breakfast looking out over the lawn and the deer walking through the garden was the icing on the cake.
In Cairngorm National Park, The Boat Country Inn and Restaurant has a restaurant, Wi-Fi access and elegant rooms. Aviemore can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

The location and the style of building. All staff friendly and helpful. Communications were good. We were pre warned about the location of our room would be affected by the noise from the bar so went prepared with ear plugs. Maybe this is something the hotel could provide?

Fantastic house in a superb setting. The property is located close to the centre of the village, within walking distance of the pub, golf course and Landmark Forest Adventure park.
The Aga in the kitchen keeps the house lovely and warm.
We had an excellent breakfast. I had full cooked breakfast and my wife had an omelette. Both were cooked perfectly and a good size, without being too massive. They easily supplied gluten free bread for my wife. The location was great, handy for walking our dog along the river by the old packhorse bridge in the centre of Carrbridge. We only regret that we didn't have more time to explore. The Landmark Forest Adventure Park was only a couple of hundred metres away.
