House of Juniper, hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh

Set in Broadford, 14 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, House of Juniper offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

First thing I learned was that in Skye reservations should be booked months before the expected visit. But as usually happens, better discovers born from mistakes. In this way I had the fortune to find this place, absolutely wonderful (seaview very relaxing), and with competent and very kind staff (Cris and Mike, a pleasure to met you). Very interesting the restaurant side the hotel. Unfortunately we had no time to use the spa. My experience was very positive.

Hotel Eilean Iarmain, hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh

In a picturesque bay in the south of Skye, this hotel has beautiful views over the Sound of Sleat and the distant hills of Knoydart.

Traditional Scottish hotel in a picturesque area of Skye. We received a very warm welcome and our family room was comfortable with a large bedroom on the mezzanine floor and a smaller bedroom downstairs. We had a lovely lounge area too, ideal for relaxing. The beds were so comfortable and as the area is quiet and dark, we were able to sleep soundly. The bar was buzzy and fun and the hotel lounge was ideal to enjoy a drink before dinner. Dinner was delicious, everything we ate over the three nights we were there was well cooked and portion sizes were plentiful. The breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty. The staff were all so friendly, especially Fiona at breakfast. I would recommend this hotel.

Good sized room & en-suite located in Kyle of Lochalsh. Heather was an excellent host & we found the accommodation like a home for home. Ideally situated for travelling over the Skye bridge to explore the island. We will consider in the future returning as we enjoyed it so much.

The location was perfect, even without a car. A nice 40 mins leisurely stroll into Kyle of Lochalsh to catch the 917 bus to Portree, Skye. Erubsaig is a beautiful, picturesque and tranquil village. Lots of beautiful walks nearby. Kate and Roy are fantastic hosts, I felt at home. My twin room was clean and quiet with awesome seaview. Breakfast was healthy and fresh. I'll be back soon!
