Very pretty property. Beautifully decorated and located about 15 minutes walking from Inverness train station. Breakfast was excellent and hospitality was top-notch.
The royal highland is an older but charming hotel. It’s basically attached to the Inverness train station and very centrally located. Because it’s older, there are some quirks and it’s not shiny new. But the room was a good size, clean, and everything worked.
Location was Immaculate; literally 10 steps away from the Entrance/Exit of the Inverness Train Station and a short walk away from everything else in the town. Bed was very comfy. Shower and Bath had great water pressure.
The hotel is located right next door to the Inverness train station. The lobby and staircase are beautiful and the included continental breakfast is adequate with a separate station offering some gluten free options. If you want the full English or Scottish breakfast, there is a 6 GBP up-charge. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant which I found to be convenient; however, the quality of the evening meal was less than I expected.
