everything... on arrival our luggage was offered to be carried to our room on our behalf.... staff couldn't do enough. Kate drove out of her way to buy cigarettes on our behalf after we asked if any were sold behind the bar while we had a meal and drink in the evening. in the morning we came down for breakfast which was offered to be brought up to our room. the room was beautiful and of a highly clean standard with high quality amenities from decor to TV to Bluetooth speaker and a fridge in the room for our beverages. the ensuite bathroom was immaculate and not to mention the old tin bath in the main room by the window with a beautiful view. would stay again and again. the dinner was perfect too and every member of staff was very respectful and great at what they do.

We went to the door of the Cathedral having travelled a fair distance just to visit again. It was fully closed with a set up for the Three Choiurs Festival.
Does full closure REALLY need to be implemented for an important but not that demanding set!
It left us very disappointed

See as much as you can!
See as much as you can! Wonderful recreations of saints' shrines. Visit the Mappa Mundi. Inexpensive (for Hereford) tea and snacks on the way to the chained library (for harry Potter fans!) Do attend an atmospheric evensong.

The room was on the first floor with a great view down the street towards Hereford Cathedral. It's not a busy street. Parking was free, and off road. The room was cosy, spacious, well equipped in the bathroom with my favourite toiletries :) Downstairs, the breakfast and dining room extension is all pale wood and glass, sitting on the castle moat, with sun streaming in, and duck life to observe outside. Really fab. The food was produce from the hotel's own farm - tasty, well presented, attentive but not intrusive service. All good.
excellent location, hosts very helpful and prompt with reply to any questions.
free on street parking with a permit ( v handy ).
great location , 5min walk from hereford cathedral and town centre .
Warm welcome by Adam and warm welcome at breakfast by Michael. We stayed two nights with just breakfast. We walked into the centre and enjoyed Hereford Cathedral and its services. The dining room and hotel were elegant.
A very nice historic hotel in an excellent location close to Hereford cathedral. Dinner in The Hereford bar and brasserie was extremely good and good value for money. I also had a superb whiskey sour in the stylish Orange Bar.
This BnB is very good value for money and is located a five minute walk from Hereford Cathedral, so well placed for tourists. There are nearby public carparks but parking at the BnB must be paid for separately.
Breakfast was plentiful, well managed and the staff serving were very friendly. Soap and shampoo were provided in the communal showers.
